Standards and Programming Policies
As pioneers in adult entertainment broadcasting, we are particularly sensitive to the nature of our programming and the views of our distributors and their subscribers. All of our programming goes through a rigorous editing process to ensure that we achieve the highest quality in adult content allowed under Canadian law. In addition, we edit to a higher standard than is allowable by Canadian law and various film boards ensuring no distributor will ever have problems with our programming.
X Broadcasting's editing standards include full review by federal regulatory authorities and further monitoring to ensure compliance with other regulatory authorities' standards in addition to an screening process whereby we screen all our films and then edit them to a higher standard internally than is allowed by any provincial film boards before submitting them to film boards for approval.
To meet our customers' expectations, our programming is revealing. However, we will not under any circumstance broadcast scenes, which border on illegal behavior. You will never see violence in conjunction with sexual activity, incest, sadism, sadomasochism, forced bondage, drugs, scenes of non-consenting adults, or scenes of sexual activity with minors.
Although our films contain explicit and graphic language, you will never hear sexist, racist, or morally offensive dialogue. Our focus is on portraying healthy sexual activity between consenting adults in order to entertain the viewer, not encourage an alternative or illegal activity. Our primary goal is simply to entertain the viewer in a manner consistent with contemporary community standards by broadcasting accepted forms of sexual activity.
